Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Game Review
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been one of the biggest games ever released this year. It’s a multiplayer online first-person shooter (FOF) video game based on a very popular book, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PSP. The story is set around thirty years after the events of Call of Duty: World War II. A new enemy has emerged from the shadows, known as Hydra, and is kidnapping US soldiers. Team XP, the United States military’s rapid insertion training squad, must be activated and trained quickly in order to stop the threat. Once activated, the team is quickly put to work training the new recruits.
One of the more interesting features of the game is its leaderless approach to play. Each player is given their own private mission and has the opportunity to do anything they want to do to help their team. You can’t be a sniper, a gunner, a medic or a recon type because you are actually the leader of your team. One of the players on your team will be chosen to be the leader, who is also the primary player when you switch between game types.
Another twist to this single player game is that you aren’t restricted to playing with other players via a network or LAN. In fact, you can play the game up to four players locally, which makes this game more fun than most. The ability to play with people around the world is one of the biggest attractions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The action in this game is set against the backdrop of an urban landscape. Players must navigate through an assortment of buildings and vehicles to complete objectives. For example, a group of soldiers need to take out a tank block. They can do this by making use of an armored car and destroying the tank along the way. Other objectives include capturing control points and protecting civilians.
Some of the multiplayer in the game requires using certain military equipment. These include machine guns and other unique items. In one scenario, players have to protect a helicopter from being attacked by terrorists. This operation requires using either a machine gun or a missile, although they are not exactly traditional weapons. Each one has a different characteristic, which helps to make each one unique.
Each member of your team has special skills which can help them accomplish their goals. For example, one player on your team can stealthily get into a building and plant explosives inside. This will then trigger a massive explosion, which will kill everyone inside. When you or one of your other players are using a machine gun, you will need to be very careful, because other players can quickly shoot you if you aren’t cautious.
One of the coolest aspects of this game is that players can create custom emblems. These are basically headstones for each of your players. You can then customize these headstones to look just like your favorite football team or rock band. The more creative you are with these emblems, the better, because they will help others identify your character more easily. If you are involved in a battle, your emblem will change to reflect the colors of your team.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare offers hours of exciting gameplay. Although it does have some minor negative critics, it is still one of the most popular games on the gaming market. It’s fun to play, offers great multiplayer, and allows you to immerse yourself in a fascinating story. If you are looking for a new game to play, I highly recommend trying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
